After Scarper! had called it a day, four-fifths of the band felt there was still enjoyment to be found in locking themselves in a cell of the wonderful Old Chapel Studio in Leeds on a Saturday afternoon so they could avoid the usually dismal football results

We eventually hammered out five songs that took a bit more of a rock direction than Scarper! ever did so we headed down to Nottingham to record them with the thoroughly esteemable Paul Yeadon at the controls. Three days in that ramshackle old studio, two nights in his local, three supermarket breakfasts and one expensive borrowed guitar later and we were done.
